Today, trying to unwind, I went to visit Thesims3 forum. Drama ensued. Anyone who knows me personally in real life knows that drama is not my thing. i don't like it and don't care to become involved in it. Simply trying to cool over a situation I ended up in the drama.
I really miss how the site use to be. I miss all my old friends from there. For the most part the people there now are immature and ridiculous. I miss Firestar, Chi, Cel, Westie, Vid, both Jakes (Mummy Gaga and Evergreen), Lisaboo, The Real Deal, Repulsive Desire, CeCe, Wednesday, Zeri, Kami, Hamsterlover, Molly, Hugzies, and so many more. It's just extremely hurtful to really have enjoyed something and then see it changed for the worse... :S

I miss them too. It was much more fun to lurk and occasionally post there. Now it's annoying.
I do miss those good ole days. But nothing gold can stay unfortunately :(

I saw that thread. What they did to you was totally uncalled for.
I know what you mean about missing the old days, though. A lot of people left on EA are just dregs of a once great place. I feel sorry for the more recent users, who actually would have fit in, back in the old days, but never get to experience that, due to poor timing.
It seems like all the activity of the Forum has moved away from GD and into the Gifting Section, Stories and Legacies, and Sims and Modeling.
When last Summer ended, Forum Activity dropped substantially. At this point, I don't even know if Summer will even matter and the place is already doomed to failure.
It's a shame, really. The place used to be so lively, drama free, and above all, fun. It just seems to have lost that.
@Keleya, thank you for that. I was wondering why it seemed like no one was trying to understand my intentions.
But anyway your right. I feel like the forums have just become a mess. I don't feel comfortable there anymore because back in the day we use to be able to have fun with one another without a bunch of problems and everything wasn't so "clique" oriented. Sad, really sad.
Aww <3<3 I miss it too! Everything use to be cool between people. Now everything is so divided. I'd rather lurk and SMH at things than speak my mind. It's no use over there anymore.
There is only one thread that I wouldn't hesitate to post in and that's Fid's showcase thread.
I do wish EA would get a grip, so that the people who did enjoy the thread could possibly knock(type) some sense into these babies.

I still lurk around! I agree 100000000000000000%. I haven't been on the forums in months and that's one of the main reasons (and the fact that the site has so many glitches, I can't get on ANYWAY, even if I wanted to :S) I miss everyone too. :( And I agree with Keleya.
